Bracelet dilemma
I have a BLRO on jubilee from 2020 - manufactured prior to the point where it was offered with a choice of oyster or jubilee - I have also asked my AD to source an oyster for it, but it was some time ago and has yet to appear.
I was also fortunate to recently be allocated a VTNR on oyster by my superb AD, I'm a lefty wearer and as such it's pretty much become my favorite piece. Given the amount I find myself wearing the VTNR I'd like to 'tone it down' a little and have the oyster completely brushed out. My dilemma: if the VTNR ever needed to go in for service I could send it in on the brushed oyster, or alternatively fit the jubilee from the pepsi - obviously neither of which are OEM to the piece. Under those circumstances would Rolex insist on polishing out the center links on the brushed oyster or replace the jubilee bracelet with a PCL oyster? I know, I know - it would make sense to wait until I can source a second PCL oyster before brushing out the OEM VTNR bracelet, but... |

RSC won't polish if you instruct them as such. If the bracelets are authentic, they will let them stay.
