I really didn’t expect this to come through!
But I guess AP liked my audition tape…I am just kidding, of course :) Seriously though, I never made a play for the previous all-ceramic ROO 44mm pieces a few years ago until it was too late to ask, plus the fact it seemed they weren’t produced for long. So the music edition pieces immediately struck a positive chord as soon as I saw them. I think the Ti models are also very cool, but they overlap with other Ti ROOs I have, and are relatively too ‘loud’ for me to be able to wear as often as I’d like and in various situations. In contrast, the black ceramic is relatively more subtle and versatile, BUT importantly without trading off any of the ‘fun’ aspect that is inherent to this reference.

The last takeaway point given the fact I miraculously received an allocation is that whomever is sincerely interested should not hesitate to ask their boutique…which is what one of the regular forum members here said when these were announced! I realize there are mixed feelings about this music edition release, with many people not liking them enough to purchase, so it must be a small niche group of people who actually want one of these. So it’s reasonable to assume chances are better than some might imagine, for whatever that is worth.

Looks amazing. I asked for one as well. Just got a RO a few weeks ago though, so I’m not sure if they would get me another watch

Yes, big congrats on your RO…I believe you said it was blue, which is awesome. But that’s a separate issue, since you’re not asking for another 50th Anniversary piece. I also received an ROC a couple months ago, therefore it is very doable that they also give you this ROO since they were already willing. But it’s definitely smart that you prioritized the RO. I actually wasn’t aware of the 15707ce, but when I look it up it is an excellent black ceramic piece that is honestly very similar to this music edition in many key respects…plus, I’m sure it fits great on any wrist due to the size difference!
