How does this 1655 look ?
Hi guys, I saw this on ebay just a few minutes ago. I was wondering what you think. The portion showing the engravings are quite polished to a shine. But any experts can maybe chime in? Thanks

purely based on his feedback or rather lack of any real transaction data and item description I would be looking somewhere else. he is not giving me a "warm" feeling.

The photos look good, he mentions the serial, but not the biggest salesman when it comes to a beautiful classic like this Red Hand, the start price has me a little worried, but then again I wouldn't be selling a Rolex on the Bay.

IMO the watch looks fake or franken.
The case shape is wrong. As Stan previously noted, there should not be a space between the case and bezel near the crown guards. Compare to mine or this one on eBay --> http://cgi.ebay.com/ROLEX-VINTAGE-EX...3%3A1|294%3A50 Anyone else? |

IMO the crown on the dial looks wrong style for a "T Swiss T" dial. Should have pointed crown--either frog foot or the other pointed crown. And I've never seen genuine Rolex 1655 NOS hands glow that strikingly.
p.s. Pav's 1655 has the correct "other" type of pointed crown (rather than frog foot). |

Fake...It is probably from the forbidden website where counterfeits are their specialty.
