Some days i put on the tang, some days i put on the deployant and some days i put on the thumbnail, they all have their uses and currently i'm using the deployant most, so i'll vote for that

I like both, and swap about regulary.

Tend to wear the deployment if I am at work so as to get under the cuff

Oh yeah, better give a run down on the uses i have for them:

Deployant - I love this as it gives a bit more confidence taking off or putting on the watch, you lose that 'i better not drop it' feeling. It's also the one that feels nicer to wear at the moment, although sometimes it can be annoying with it digging into the back of the wrist, make sure to test it before buying to see if it fits properly. It's also good as it has a smaller profile and great for wearing to work.

Tang - Great for weekend wearing, the larger profile makes it more noticeable and i wouldn't wear this one to work too often, but it is the buckle that is the most 'Panerai' of the lot.

Thumbnail - This is a nice one as well, discrete and does the same job as the tang, they're not that popular so usually cheaper to buy.

Ryan,you just spoke my mind...

but i think deployant straps last longer/better than tang.

Only one .................

BUCKLE !!!!!

Pre-V style curved or flat The best I have seen ....

Kevin BigB slighty curved handmade
J & S flat handmade
Julien's GPF sewn-in
Simona's cutsom numbered unpolished flat on the Bruno Divers

Deployants are collecting dust mytes in the boxes.

In rosegold ....the 231's round buckle is pretty nice.Although for the size of my paws,()it could have been a bit more substantial and also 22mm,not 20mm.
The 289s brushed buckle is pretty nice !!

I've not worn a deployant with my 190, but have with my previous 48. I do like the deployant and will probably have one at some point, although overall I feel the tang makes a PAM just pop. Plus I think it fits more proportionately.

I have a couple of seriously thick straps that only fit a tang, but if I was to express a preference it would be deployant,as they don't mark the leather as much. Not seen a thumbnail

BUCKLE!!!!!

Deployant can be uncomfortable due the steel biting in, depending how you wear it.
