Diving with my polar

Hey,

Anyone had diving experience with his 226570 exp II ?

I’m thinking whether it’ll be a good idea….

The watch is relatively new, my daily since Feb.22, I do everything with him, including shower pool, beach….

What do you think?

Thanks

You'll break before the watch does.

Aside from it not having a rotating dive bezel, you’ll be fine

Are you below 200m?

For Christ's sake it's a tool watch

Explorer is NOT a dive watch by design, for God’s sake it was made famous by exploring the mountains and going to all high peaks and such.
With that being said, I don’t think you should have any problems diving with it as long as you don’t go below 100’

Shouldn’t that be 330ft instead?

Seriously?
Wow I’m surprised all of you said that it’s ok.

I did dove with my sub with no worries as it’s 300m and built for it.

With the polar - The 100m and twinlock system is ok to go down as much as 30 meters?

In the pic - me diving at Cyprus together with the Sub :)

I wouldn't do a deep dive with it. Not rated for that.

Modern dive computers really make wearing a watch for this task obsolete.

Unless its part of the outfit as a prop or a pose, I guess.

The Explorer II is not a dive-watch in that it does not meet the specific requirements/specifications as spelled out in ISO-6425.

However, the watch is rated for 100-meter depth water resistance so should be perfectly capable of most recreational dive depths.

I saw a professional diver on here a while back who did hundreds of dives in their vintage Datejust. Pretty sure it was a 16013. Your modern Explorer is more than capable
