Rubber strap for JLC MUT moonphase

Hi people,

Recently acquired a MLC MUT moon phase 2021 model for my dad and I was wondering if anyone can point me towards a reputable/high quality rubber strap website that has that quick change thingy that fit the new watch?

He spends heaps of time outside and leather strap just 'stink' up after a while.

WUS has a dedicated JLC forum and best bet is to try there. I just purchased the JLC MG and was really trying to figure out how to get a rubber strap on there and kinda gave up since the OEM strap is pretty casual and comfortable so far.

I think one of the suggestions was Meraud’s Tropic straps, but there needs to be replacement of the straight spring bars with curved ones, and the possibility of needing to do cutout of the strap to incorporate the quick release. This is something that I am thinking about…

I just bumped a thread there that you should be able to find very quickly. I reached out to two tropic strap makers to see if they can pre-install the curved QR springbar for me before sending. Not optimistic, but I can ask!!

I have a master control and used a Hirsch strap. I ordered my own curved quick release spring bars and replaced the straight ones that came with the strap. It was easy and took 5 minutes.
