1983 Rolex 15037 Oyster Perpetual Date 34mm Quickset Yellow Gold Black Dial

For sale is an all original 34mm 14 karat yellow gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date. The 15037 is a 7.4 million serial, circa 1983, and is not accompanied by box or papers.

The Rolex features a brushed yellow gold case, which is accented by a fixed yellow gold fluted bezel. The Oyster Date is mounted on its original 6311 yellow gold Jubilee bracelet, which is secured by a deployment clasp. The bracelet contains 20 full size links and will comfortably fit a 7.6 inch wrist. The Rolex features black dial with applied yellow gold stick hour markers, polished yellow gold tritium coated hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The tritium lume plots and hands have acquired a stunning even custard patina, which beautifully accents the watch’s black dial. The movement used in the 15037 is the Rolex quickset caliber 3035.

The Rolex’s case has been preserved extremely well and contains thick well defined crisp lugs, while the bezel flutes remain sharp and appear to be untouched. The Jubilee bracelet has also been preserved well and remains in approximately 85% plus condition. Overall the Rolex is in very good condition and is a well preserved honest example of a 15037 Oyster Date.
