I've come across a few of these over the years, not sure what significance (if any) the 3 stars have. Obviously a couple of these are refinished so it's possible the stars were added on those later:

Bump - Anyone have a 'scooby' (rhyming slang for clue in uk) on these dials ? - I for one am clueless.... but I'm keen to know !
