TAG Carrera "El Primero Flyback" Calibre 36 CAR2B11

Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 36 Flyback Chronograph 43mm Steel CAR2B11.BA0799

Like new with original box, warranty and documents.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 36 was launched in 2013 for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Carrera. This is the first Carrera to feature the Calibre 36 automatic movement, a version of the iconic Zenith El Primero 400.

The same Zenith "El Primero" mouvement propelled Rolex 16520 Daytona from a hard-to-sell manually wound Valjoux 72 caliber to the world (of chronograph) current domination. The "36" name comes from the ultra-high beat of 36000VpH which gives the Heuer Carrera Calibre 36 Flyback Chronograph its remarkable accuracy.

The stunning and unique dial is an homage to TAG Heuer protracted line of chronographs. The inner anthracite circle is an individual 12-indices clock dial (notice how the minute hand extends only to the edge of this circle).

The outer circle (which counts to 60) is for the chronograph stopwatch seconds counter, indicated by the extended second hand with a red tip. The small inner dials are for clock seconds and chronograph minutes. It is a perfect design.

The other feature that really makes the movement so special is the “Flyback” chronograph.

Flyback “A normal chronograph is started and stopped with the top chronograph pusher and then re-set to zero with the bottom pusher. You must stop the chronograph before you re-set to zero. The Flyback is different, in that you can press the bottom pusher while the chronograph is active. This resets the hand back to zero and continues timing, something essential for military pilots for whom the complication was originally developed.” https://www.calibre11.com/review-tag...re-36-flyback/

This is a high-performance luxury watch, with a beautiful and classy design, top-tier quality, and a reasonable price.

WARRANTY: No warranties due to the age of the watch (est. 2013-2015 era). Please note that the included warranty card that came with the watch when I purchased it is completely blank.

INCLUDED WITH SALE: Watch w/ steel bracelet, inner box, outer Tag Heuer box, spare links, blank warranty card, owner's manual, and other TAG Heuer literature. The condition of this watch can be seen clearly in the photos. It has been hardly worn. No mechanical issues.

MSRP: $8700
Sale: $2950
+ shipping at cost.
