Flying with the GMT

Here’s the GMT in its natural habitat. Too bad it’s only a 2 hour time zone difference. But we are happy to get out and about!

Awesome pic!

As a pilot this is definitely a useful work watch for sure. My Batman is with me on every flight.

Wear it in good health!

If you set the GMT hand to GMT then it will be a larger time difference.. maybe 5 or 9 hrs.
Plus you get to use the bezel too.. win win!

Great Pic...

As much as I love my BLNR, I will admit that my 50 y/o eyes have a much easier time seeing the red GMT hand as opposed to the blue one. I may have to pick up a BBGMT o get that nice red hand.

Thanks all!
I would love to go back to Australia— then I could really get good use of the GMT hand! I don’t look forward to a jet-lagged toddler though, so may wait a bit longer before I undertake international travel.

I fly over 100 hours a month--and never without a GMT strapped to my wrist. THE ultimate aviation watch. Unsurpassed commercial and military history. Enjoy that gorgeous watch in great health!

2 hour time differences are the worst! Worse than 6 IMHO. Definitely the right call to counteract with GMT!

I do use the GMT function, but I mean to say it’s easy to calc home time when it’s only 2 hr difference, but if I’m crossing halfway around the world, it would be a lot more helpful.
