Whoops, Accidentally Bought a Daytona!

I was on vacation in SC this past week and ran across a Daytona at the local AD. They offered it to me for $9925 out of the door. I left and thought about for a day and couldn't resist. I needed a friend for my Sub! Here is a picture I took for insurance. I'll Try and get some more "artsy" photos up ASAP.

First of all Congratulations on your new watch...but i just noticed you paid $9925..which i assume he just took out the tax...atleast you could have asked for a V series..i dont want to sound like scumbag here but you could have atleast ask for more discount..IMO a brand new M series should be just $9600 out of the door or maybe less..by the way does it have the new clasp on it??but anyway if your happy with it...Thats all it matters!!!

Oscar,
The MSRP of $9,925.00 is correct. The card states #78590 which denotes the "new" clasp. Not every AD has V series 116520 available.

Good pickup on the bracelet #78590, kinda got the feeling the original poster is very pleased with his purchase.
Here in Canada there is no such thing as a discount on a S/S Daytona, it simply goes to the next available purchaser.

Thanks for the responses, I'm loving the watch! I want to take some pictures of it with the sub and get them up here. As far as the clasp it is the updated one. I was under the impression that there were no differences between the m and v series other than that and the latest letter. In NYC they are still nearly impossible to find in a dealer so i felt it was a good move to grab it whether it was a m or v. both are great watches.
