New pickup Seamaster Ceramic

Sold my no date sub a few months back and was looking for something to replace it. Been in love with the wave dial on the Seamaster of late and found this at my AD with a couple grand off the price. Didn't hesitate and picked it up...

Do admit that it is a little large, but it wears comfy and i love a NATO strap for my daily.

I love this watch, and it looks great on NATO.

Good to hear AD's are offering some more incentive- I think MSRP on this one is a little high. I have tried this exact piece on twice (once in Florida @ Mayors, and once in Michigan @ Mastercraft)- both times was told no discounts offered.....

Yeh I like the Bond watch too, but would never pay MSRP for that or this.

(not that they aren't good value for money, but i would have got the regular seamaster for what I think it a great price at MSRP in comparison).

Just saw one of these the other day at the AD. Looks terrific and I prefer it over the all blacked out version due to legibility. Is this one 42 or 43.5mm?

Yeh but not that all black one, the one it came with is black and grey.

43.5mm the biggest watch i have had, but it looks great, despite my tiny wrists.

That's a beautiful watch, congratulations! I decided against getting one due to the size, bought a steel version instead, and flipped it mainly because of the shiny dial (bad for legibility). In the ceramic version they did things right and the dial is matt ceramic. Also looks better without a date, IMO.

A couple of grand off? That's tremendous, congrats.

Omega really does a nice job with the ceramics, and I agree, this watch looks great without the date.

I absolutely love the look. Just too big for me. Also, there is no rubber strap/deployant option so I Went with the white dial.

There is actually a rubber strap option! Most of the reviews i saw were with the rubber strap.

The white dial is what made me want to replace my sub with a Seamaster, its beautiful, good choice!

Nice watch, the blue gets featured a lot but that black dial and bezel are very sharp, so distinctive. Enjoy.

Suddenly, I have to have this watch in my collection that includes a white SMP and a 43.5 PO. Looks fantastic on that black NATO. I just do not want to pay full retail and discounts seem to be very hard to get.

Boutiques seem to have stopped the discounts. I haven't even been offered any extras like straps. Feels like no difference to just order straight from the website or if you have an AD that carries Omegas, you can probably secure a few percent off that way.

Congrats! They did a really good job with that one. In person it looks a lot different than in pictures, in my experience. In person the gray really comes out. The bezel below the ceramic and underneath the dial is really cool, but hard to see in pics.

Enjoy it!

That’s probably my favorite SMP but yes it does wear a little big. Wish it was 42.
