John Mayer with a Green Rubber-B

Guys

Am fortunate to be collecting a JM from AD in a couple weeks time. Was thinking about wearing it on a Rubber-B if I can find the “right” green.

Anyone seen one being worn this way?

Maybe an emerald green gator or ostrich would work.

But the strap options depicted are hideous

Do as you please but I wouldn’t waste one minute or dollar trying to make this combo work.

Those could be very nice options.

Rubber for this watch just doesn’t make sense. For me.

Your watch, your call.
However I would call the cops and and hope they’d arrest you for this.

If you're able to add a set of gold end-links, I think it would look interesting with an Oyserflex strap look.

One of the world's most beautiful watches with a horrible strap suitable for a Walmart watch.

Like pearls before swine.

Original bracelet looks the best imo. If someone really wanted to change, a green leather or alligator strap with end links might be more elegant looking? Re-use the original gold clasp too with the leather strap.

Please share this with your AD so they don’t sell you the watch and sell it to me. Just kidding but not really.

Congrats! You’re very lucky.

please please please no.

this is (in my opinion) the nicest PM metal watch in the rolex catalog and you are very lucky to get one. i would absolutely not ruin it by putting it on a rubber b.

side note, i’ve tried rubber B on my submariner and GMT and it doesn’t do it for me. oysterflex is in another category and rubber b/everest is far behind. just my 0.02

Gold Daytona instant collectible due to JM influencing bothers me to begin with. As far as straps are concerned, don't ask for approval; wear it on a strap if you like it. That's really all that counts. My thoughts when I but my Platona on a strap was about preserving the bracelet. You'll likely get a scratch on the underside of the lugs adding the strap. But again it's no one's business but your own.

The YG bracelet makes the watch every bit as the green dial. Take one away, the watch is diminished IMHO

It’s meant to be worn in it’s original form IMO
