Royal Oak Series Advice Needed

Hi Fellow Watch Lovers

I am writing in to ask for the norm when it comes to waiting for a RO/ROC allocation with purchase history?

I am asking cause I started with a ROO with the boutique and while I love the watch and is my daily beater, there are just some occasions that I wish I have a steel watch added into my rotation.

I been crazy about watches since young and been fortunate enough to tried a wide range of watches before knowing what I like and dislike. And RO/ROC right up there in terms of my holy grail.

Appreciate any advice I can get, thank you and have a good week for anyone and everyone who is reading this.

6-24 months, shorter if you’re lucky and longer if you’re unlucky.

Singapore will be tough!

Then depends on color. If black/white maybe 2023/early 24 in NorthAmerica. My guess, stress guess, is need to add Code to get steel RO in 23 even with further weakening of global economy because of how strong the collector base is in SG. Good luck!

Personally at this point, I would just go gray. (Both dial color and market description, lol)

Thank you for the reply, it’s been almost a year. Hopefully soon!

Does it help if I express my interest at other boutiques (say North America?) and having a purchase history from another boutique from another country will actually help to increase my chances?

Will need any luck I can get, thank you!

I think will hurt expressing interest in multiple locations at this point. I also think other continent will be hard unless you have a real physical address to justify the location as corporate strategy has been clearly to funnel clients by regions to certain nearby centers.

But of course if you have residences in SG and LA/NY…seems most luxary brands they would be eager. Just my humble opinion.

You have better luck in Singapore. It’s batshit insane here in the US . Wait till after Jan2023 for the 50th hype to die down.

I proposed to my SA to get an allocation. He said no..that’s for both, allocation and marriage proposal.

Doesn’t hurt express interest outside of your home boutique. But it’s harder to eh, “build a relationship”.

Thank you for your insights!

I guess I will just stick to my home boutique in that case, and better so this way as I spend more time here in Singapore.

The 50th-anniversary pieces are definitely ones to be remembered for years to come, guess i will remain patience and enjoy the hunt.
