Tag Heuer x Mario Kart Limited Edition

Anyone thinking of purchasing the limited Tag x Mario Kart release? I admit the theme is a bit silly but can't help seeing how fun the watch is.

The tourbillon looks fun but not sure how desirable it will be at the 25k price range. Limited to 250 pieces.

The LE chrono is limited to 3000 pieces and the prices is around $4300 MSRP.

The tourbillon is cute, I like it! Not 25k like, but it's great for the throwback video gamers.

Not really a fan of the collaboration. Watches look pretty good. I don’t really the the F1 Tourbillion..

I like Mario kart, but when the website told me to “wait for the Official Drop on October 20” … isn’t that what sneaker releases and hype clothing releases are called ?

Yes agreed, but everyone seems to be using the term 'drop' because that's what their targeted audience is accustomed to nowadays.

The kids no longer use the terms Phat or Groovy.

I have been a fan of the game for a long time.

I like the execution of the tourbillon, but i don't like it "pay retail" much.

For some reason I had a flashback of redeeming my free silver Atari jacket after purchasing my 2600 console. Not sure these collabs are my cup of tea but to each their own.

Outside of the co-brand, I think the designs are ok.

I'm an 80's child and have had a handful of friends who don't own mechanical watches mention this release in conversation, so I think this will be successful in the target market they are shooting for.
