It's 5-8k too much, and the hour plots are too big.

A used watch selling for less than retail? Shocking.

It probably doesn't sell well because:

a) it's very expensive
b) it's on a rubber strap
c) it's kind of ugly

I realize that all of these are subjective, but you asked for opinions...

That's funny, because (a) its 40mm brother seems to sell well and it's expensive, (b) also on a rubber strap and (c) it looks very similar to this watch, albeit smaller and made with Rose gold instead of white.

I honestly think this would be my perfect watch if they made it in a 40mm. All subjective as you say

I much prefer this watch with rose gold, which I think is only on the 40mm version. There's so little of the gold showing, why not go for the gold that doesn't look like stainless steel.

I tend to agree with this. I tried on the 40mm version in rose gold and really like it. Nice heft of PM but under the radar with a black bezel and strap.

When it was first teased before release I was hoping against hope it would be stainless steel for around $13K. Alas it was white gold for that.
I like the looks, the style, etc, but at that amount it’s just an overpriced niche model.

Points (a) and (c) hits it right on the head for me! The main thing I could never get on board with is the bezel. Reminds me of a piece of ABS plastic and looks cheap to me. I think it would look good if they did the numbers and the graduations in WG or maybe even lumed. Needs some contrast imo. I personally don't mind the rubber strap. The 116519 WG Daytona on OF is one of my favorites!
