Heuer winding sound vs Rolex winding sound
I have a Heuer WV5111.FC6350 that winds nearly silently. I have a Rolex 11640GV that winds with a soft but clearly audible purr.
For some reason, I would expect the Rolex to wind as silently as the Heuer, yet it doesn't. Neither watch makes a sound when it's just sitting there, ticking away. Are these normal differences? Is the Rolex winding sound considered desirable or somehow luxurious to people compared to the silent winding sound of a Heuer? |

Well that Tag you have runs a Calibre 6 which is basically an ETA2895, which is itself based on the ETA 2892, which is an exceptionally smooth-winding movement. Butter-smooth in fact.
The 3131 you have in your Milgauss is a proprietary Rolex movement which just happens to have a more positive-sounding 'click' when it's manually wound. Totally different movements, and totally normal.
