Rolex Daytona 116519 vs Rolex meteorite Pepsi
I've got a 116519 in my collection that I'm currently thinking of letting go and I think in its absence I'd grab a Meteorite Pepsi instead.
Thoughts? Would you guys do the swap or would you stick with the 116519? |

Meteorite Pepsi trumps everything in the Daytona lineup except for, maybe, possibly, the Platona.
Its more exclusive and is absolutely gorgeous on the wrist. |

I think the best of all would be WG Daytona meteorite dial with full bracelet.
WG Daytona meteorite dial with full bracelet > WG Pepsi meteorite dial > WG OF Daytona (regular dial).

First, your collection is insane. Well done. Second, I think this trades makes great sense, especially considering you have the Platona already. I can’t imagine wearing the 519 much if I had a Platona. And I love (and own) the 519, Trade approved! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I appreciate all the perspectives on this thread. Just today I was debating a white gold sun (I have a 116500 white, 166519 yg meteorite of, a ss Pepsi and two pateks I can never remember the numbers to 5146g and 5905p maybe). This pushed me into the camp of waiting it out for the wg gmt I really want or the wg Daytona. Thanks everyone! First time on in a long time so it shows the value of this community.

I have both (or doggone close with respect to the Daytona on Oysterflex (sundust/rose gold)). This really isn't even a rational debate. Other than the Platona, the GMT Meteorite is the baller #1. Do you hear me talking, John Mayer Daytona folks? Not debatable. Flame away.

Either meteorite would be amazing! I think I like the Daytona meteorite 116519 a little better because the black subdials break it up nicely.
Both just make me drool … Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I actually like the YG green dial daytona better than the Platona. But all three are ultimate heavy hitters but given the choice I would do the GMT every time. |

Prefer the GMT and full bracelet. And of course, that dial.
