Change to Rolex Service Centers at Authorized Dealers?
TRF — Has Rolex “expanded” what it means to be a Rolex Service Center (RSC) to include what was formerly authorized service centers at ADs?
As I was looking on Rolex.com with their announcement of the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program, I noticed some of these changes. https://www.rolex.com/en-us/watch-ca...#locateme=true If you look at the Rolex link for their service centers in the US you will now see many many RSCs. Dallas, New York, and Beverly Hills are designated the same as many ADs with technicians on-site. Lititz, Pa is not listed. Additionally, the Rolex website and the old RSCs do not provide any information on how to ship a watch in to them. When I look further, at a big AD like Mayors, you see a “green service card” under their local page for service. https://www.mayors.com/rolex/servicing-your-rolex Is this a new change? Will a local “RSC” now provide the green Rolex service card and warranty? I wonder if this change is associated with the CPO program, which seems to be decentralized to certain qualified ADs, where their perform the steps to service and certify the pre-owned pieces. |

Have you EVER had the option to ship directly to Lititz?

Lititz is not available to the public, only through AD’s. Had my Milgauss serviced by them but went through an AD Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Lititz is like the Area 51 of RSCs.
I noticed that, too, about service centers, but they've been listed that way for at least a few months. Makes total sense: volumes were getting too high at NY/Dallas/BH and the trouble of making certain AD workshops "ASCs" was somewhat wasted if not advertised. Something tells me that for routine matters - overhauls on non-complicated watches, regulation, standard service - the couple weeks the local AD-RSC takes will be favorable (especially given the factory service warranty that attaches). |

Of note are the San Fransisco RSC on Post street, and Sutters in the Chicago area, as well as others.

I specifically had delivered my YG Daytona to RSC Beverly Hills. I did not want some local dealer messing with it. I only hope if this is what Rolex is doing, they are requiring the
same quality of techs at these local RSCs...
