Hi PHPuser,

I see what you mean, Its an older Oysterdate, looks like a newer dial with the newer coronet. here is the pic from this listing:


The case ref 6066 points me to this one as an example -



We may need the expert eye of Stan and Springer on this one, I have a feeling its a re-dial.

what caught my eye is the coronet is so close to the edge. And the font for Rolex looks wrong

I'm not finding any that have the newer coronet, and "ROLEX" is painted on the dials not using the more modern gold bar lettering, this has to be a redial.

The big issue here is the only mention of the ref is on the inside of the caseback 6066, no serial to date the watch, the seller has very good history and looks 100% legit, this one though without the case ref/mode or serial is a hard one.

I'd say re-dial.

We need Stan :-)
