Happy owner of 75th anniversary sub, a bluesy and the new RLX titanium, and just asked my AD for a rose gold Daytona on oyster flex with chocolate dial. Anyone here successfully obtain a Daytona lately and how long did it take? My AD suggested the wait might not be too long.

Requested at AD2: “yeah this year” (started asking 1.5 years ago, told me 3-6 months every year)

Yes, with spend. I’ve gotten other hard to get watches. But my impression on daytonas is that they don’t get much of a choice on dial and metal. Then they gotta be rotated to your rep. Then maybe you’re next on the rep’s list. If you look at their site, Rolex currently makes like 50 permutations of daytonas.

Seems they come in batches... I got a blue 116509 2 weeks ago and last week my friend got a YG green dial from the same AD. I saw a lot of "got the call" posts here for Daytonas in the last few weeks. Given you just got a challenge though I think your clock has been reset
