All my Omegas (4 Speedies and 4 Seamasters) last longer than the stated power reserve by at least an hour when fully wound. If yours doesn't, you should have it checked.

I'm going to guess that it's a 5 day power reserve.

First they silently upgraded the clasp and they are changing the spring now? I wonder if they will offer free/charged upgrades for the 3861 owners during their service.

Just another Speedmaster. Not interesting. I don`t think mechanical watches need to be that accurate. That is why we have Quartz watches.

and what about before quartz watches? Was it sufficient to just say “meh close enough” when timing a dive, planning a meeting time, timing legs of your expedition etc. The innovation in the past came because of need for more accurate timekeeping. While no one “needs” a mechanical watch anymore, it’s that history that drives the very reason why these brands are doing what they’re doing. If you want jewelry exclusively, get a diamond encrusted bracelet to pair with your G-shock

Interesting innovation; not sure if it warranted three weeks of secretive hype.

I like the colour scheme, but 44.25mm seems rather large (and nearly 15mm thick). Will probably have to see this one in person.

Are you guys joking now?
Since when was it not good to have more precise watch? Why is everyone hyping Rolex for +-2secs if precision is not important! Woow, if Rolex came up with this, noone would stop talking for s decade! |

Meh. To thick even if you can pull off the 44.255mm case. All this hype and it still has 10 hours less of a power reserve then the 23 year old movement in the Daytona.
The accuracy is cool but how many people are buying a mechanical watch of the accuracy. |
