GS Strap Factory Installed Upside Down

Greetings watch buds!

I posted a question in another thread about the factory strap installation on my Omiwatari (SBGY007). Per some of our GS buds (e.g., pmac1010), "it's done this way so that when a sales rep presents the watch to a customer, the dial is facing the customer. The pointed end of the strap is on the 12 o'clock side so that it doesn't point towards the customer, which is considered rude in Japanese culture."

Interesting bit of information and, having lived in Japan for a short time, I can totally see that culturally being true. However, I couldn't get past the awkwardness of the strap installation and, before the day was over, I flipped the strap installation to more what we see in western culture. I created the poll to get a sense of how many others in the forum have had the same experience and reversed the factory strap installation.

Thanks for participating in the poll!
