Icon5 16610LV Bracelet Stretch

My Kermit's bracelet is showing it's age and signs of stretch. Does anyone know the most efficient way to buy a replacement or a quality aftermarket option? Many thanks in advance.

Why on earth would you get an aftermarket bracelet?

Just ask RSC to replace it - job done.

You can look here for a replacement.
Maybe "upgrade" to the glidelock/solid link bracelet...

I’d just have it re pinned and tightened, plenty of specialists offering the service, much cheaper and you keep the original bracelet

Depending on your location, either order a new one through an AD or contact RSC. Definitely don’t go aftermarket.

Followed by this ^ as a close second.

And this ^ is great if you aren't bothered about originality and just want the best bracelet option out there.

But this ^ is the absolute LAST thing I'd do.

Michael Young in Hong Kong. He restored a very stretched Oyster Bracelet from a 1016, which I sold recently as mint condition on eBay for a really good price, such was the quality of his work. Bracelet looked brand new when I got it back from Michael.

I didn't think that anybody wore a Kermit enough to ever wear the bracelet enough to get "stretch".

The micro adjustment in the clasp should be enough to correct most wear encountered except in very rare cases.

A new 93250 bracelet is around 2,000 bucks through any AD or an RSC. Alternatively, the worn pins can be replaced by one of the bracelet specialist shops such as Rolliworks in Fla, or Classic Watches in Hong Kong.

yeah i'm wondering how he actually managed to stretch that bracelet out...but then the idea to replace it with an aftermarket bracelet is maybe even more questionable

I've heard that Michael does excellent work. Thanks for the recommendation.

There is no such thing as a "quality aftermarket option." Just sayin'.

Surely invest in a new OEM one?

Like putting no name Chinese tires on your 911

Michael Young in HK restored my bracelet on my 1803 - he's a magician that's for sure.

FWIW, I believe the best way to prevent stretch is to keep the bracelets clean which involves periodic use of an ultrasonic cleaner.
