That's a tough one, Shannon. I know you recently got the Planet Ocean Chronograph and were very excited to obtain the piece. Any issues with comfort or versatility?

Regarding that Speedmaster, it's another fantastic piece! This is a tough one, and if the Speedmaster was always your first choice then you should do what makes you happiest and proceed with the trade.

If it wasn't but you more recently developed the desire for the Speedmaster I would hold off as long as possible to think it over prior to going ahead with the trade.

Either way, all that matters in the end is that you're happiest with your choice and either of these could achieve this. Sleep on it and I'm sure the right answer will soon be with you clearly.

Hi Shannon so I don’t have a Planet Ocean but I got to try one on at the OB when I bought my Speedmaster Moonphase, and it’s a really cool piece! It is thicker and heavier like my James Cameron, and I have found lately I wear my Speedmaster the most especially at work as it “dresses up” well. I love my JC for the weekends but the Speedy has definitely been dominating the wrist time so if you’re thinking you’d prefer a thinner, lighter watch I think you’ll be quite pleased with the Speedy!

In typical TRF fashion I have to ask…anyway to just add instead of trade?

Really like my PO. Fit and comfort is no issue at all. I recently saw the Speedmaster with the white dial and was blown away by it. It looked amazing and was eye catching

I would definitely say give it some more time first then. Go see the Speedmaster at an AD as many times as you need and consider the fact you're otherwise satisfied with the Planet Ocean.

Get pictures of the watches side by side(different lighting), and a wrist shot of the Speedmaster so you can reference these over time to determine what's best for you.

Your level of excitement leading up to the Planet Ocean purchase has me leaning towards you keeping it and waiting, as the Speedmaster should still be available later down should you be 100% sure. The exact piece you're contemplating trading may not be, but other will, I bet.

Just keep in one is a diver with screw down crown and pushers....the other is not a diver and I wouldn't even swim with any speedy .

If at all possible I’d add the Speedmaster first and see which one sings to you more
