DJ41 Mint Green vs OP41 Green

Hello all,

I am looking to buy a green dial SS as my next.
Im torn Between a DJ41 Mint green ( fluted bezel with Oyster bracelet)and OP41 green? Does any one have picture of the two side by side?

What do you prefer out of these two and why?

Thank you

I have handled both and they are VERY different.

The DJ41 dial is more classic feeling, with a softer (but still sunburst) green. I feel like you could wear this watch with a lot more than the OP41.

The OP41 green is a solid lacquer looking green, much bolder than the DJ41. I think I like how different the OP41 green is, but I would probably buy the DJ41 in green as it would be more wearable.

Not my photo, but here's a Reddit link that shows a good comparison:

I would prefer the date just over the OP41, the OP41 green is just too solid, not my taste.

I am picking up from my AD this week the DJ41 Mint green, fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet.
My reason for selecting is because the OP green to me sits in more of a casual look, which I have covered with other watches I have. Now looking at your current collection you already have a DJ so perhaps you have the dressy side covered? I would think on more from the point of view of do you have the right watch for the right occasion.
Both are a great choice but perhaps another DJ is too much overlap?

I have the DJ with the mint dial (fluted/oyster) and it is a soft, muted green unlike the bold OP green. It’s stunning by the way and I would recommend it.

I have worn both models on my wrist, I found the OP more comfy and lighter.
You cannot go wrong with either one.
I think the OP41 with the green dial is more unusual and sportier, IMO

I prefer the DJ for the style of the watch and the appearance.

I would find as many pictures as you can if you can’t see them in person. Given your collection… I don’t see an advantage to having one over the other, style wise. If it were me, and I had that same collection, I would just simply pick the green that I like best.

I love them both. I don't have the exact spec DJ41 you describe, but the DJ41 is a great watch. I do however, have the green OP41 which I absolutely love. It was a unplanned purchase in 2021 and quickly became one of my most worn pieces.

The OP green is definitely unique. Its uniformity in color is very different to the other Rolex dials. Needs to be seen in person. I like it a lot but I could see others not taking to it.

OP Green all day, personally I like flat colours better hence why I was never a fan of the sunburst dial on the Hulk.

Hi yes, this is my exact concern that I already have a blue DJ41 to cover the dressy occasions, I think I’m leaning more towards the OP41. Thank you and Congrats on the mint green! Beautiful watch!

Yes it is very unique and special to me, and it’s the exact color of the Rolex box and card
