Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date

Reference 168000 transitional model only made for about year. The only difference between 16800 and 168000 was the steel used on this watch, which was now the 914L stainless steel Rolex will use on 16610 model.

R5 serial number circa 1988 production

Excellent vintage condition case with thick lugs and crown guards. Clear numbers.

Dial is original with very strong patina on plots. Hands are tritium, but lighter in patina. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.

Bezel insert with original tritium pearl in excellent vintage condition.

Bracelet is original Rolex 93150 with 593 ends, 10 links, M date code, light stretch from use.

No box or papers.
