Our Take
The 16234 straddles between the perfect blend of vintage and modern. The ref. 16234 was among the first five-digit offerings within the Datejust family, and importantly one of the first to also use a sapphire crystal. It also featured the jumping date and the newly updated Cal. 3135 movement.

This particular ref. 16234 is in good pre-owned condition, meaning there light signs of wear. Possibly some superficial hairline marks on the caseback and clasp as well as the case which could be polished upon request. There are no major dings or knicks and the watch is running normally. The bracelet is in good condition, with only moderate stretch. Includes a free leather watch pouch.
