What's your favorite INEXEXPENSIVE restaurant?

Mine is Benihana. For some reason I have always enjoyed eating there, and try to visit on as often as I can when on the road.

If we're talking fast food, I like them all - McDonald's, In-N-Out, Arby's - there's no hate here!

I guess I don't have a favorite "inexpensive" sit-down restaurant that calls my name.

Edit: Panda Express. Love it.

Loved Beni Hana eyeing I was a kid. Need to go back.

I’d say Burger King if I’m indulging.

Big fan of a kosher deli too.

Arby's... they have the meats!

Unless it is 3:45am with your drunken friends, then it's Waffle House (or Denny's).

I try to eat from local places but if it’s a chain I have to say five guys or Popeyes chicken. I do indulge in the twice a year late night Taco Bell run for a pile of tacos. I always regret the Taco Bell run the next morning but it’s just what was needed at 10 pm.

That's how I am with Shake Shack. Few times a year, after I've already had a dinner, I'll order something stupid from there, devour it at night time, then fall asleep and regret it the next day. It's delicious though.

I love a good pastrami sandwich. Just hate feeling 10 pounds heavier afterward.

Ha. Yes. Exactly why it’s a rarity for me.

Throw in a knish and bam, food coma. Food baby.

Fast food wise, it’s Subway for me.

McDonald’s if I’m totally off the rails, which doesn’t happen often.

I don't eat fast food, so the almost all of chains are all out for me.

Chipotle maybe once every year. To me it seems like the healthiest of them all.

There are a couple of great inexpensive traditional Mexican restaurants around me. Those I really do enjoy.

Chipotle now that I've decided to cut panera. & subway on occasion. moreso when I have a sweet tooth and want a cookie.

Only problem was Chipotle was closed today. Went to the local Mexican restaurant instead.

I like the red beans and rice at Popeyes. And ate a ton of KFC before I became a vegetarian. Pretty much just get the same food everywhere at this point with different presentations lol

Been years since I've eaten at any of the major convention fast food chains though. Can't stomach most of it.

Mexico Restaurant 141 Market St in Passaic NJ

Used to be called Mexico Deli Restaurant but the DELI sign fell off.

Grew up a couple blocks from a Norms, when the wind blew in the right direction, we could smell the grease. Never ate there.

Chipotle in my area has gone down hill and I won't go there anymore.

Last time I went, I had a Chicken Burrito, asked for the Fajita Mix (Onions & Peppers), there were about 2 strips of each left in the bin, she put those on the burrito and looked up at me as if this was a full serving. No effort to pull out a new bin and add more.

I find these hole in the wall restaurants to be some of the best ones. Just look at this Michelin star restaurant in Bankgok with long lines.

Walk-in only, no reservations.

I get a veggie bowl, "no fajitas today" is par the course at this point. They're so anal about portion sizes to the point where I'm asking for 2-3 scoops. Lettuce is hit or miss these days. But its cheap and usually doesn't leave me in a food coma. It is frustrating when I plan my day. Figure half an hr for lunch at chipotle; then have to choose a new option on the fly and now my day is set back 2 hours because of it.

Still too lazy to cook for myself and clean up all of it when I'm done. Though after hearing about these all day rice cookers in another thread. I'm about to just bite the bullet. I could probably cut my food costs in half with minimal effort at this point. I just like the convenience of grabbing food while I'm running my daily errands for work, getting in my workout, then finishing off whatever else I have planned.

Their quality is way better than Qdoba though, I won't even eat there at this point as I always leave feeling awful.

There's a local fast casual place I like called 'Opa's Best'.
Their lunch specials are both ridiculously affordable and delicious.

What's your favorite INEXEXPENSIVE restaurant?

Benihana is expensive in my book

Panda (sodium) express, chick fil a, local restaurants that serve broasted chicken.

Doesn't get any cheaper than this. Might have cost $3 in a dingy alley in Zhenjiang, PRC. Probably the best meal I've ever had. I will go back.
