Chrono24
Has anyone bought from this site from a private seller who doesn’t offer the escrow option?
They accept PayPal. Is it safe to continue I figure I’ll use a credit card and if I do t get the watch I can dispute it ?

I have purchased private from C24, but I thought the escrow service is always in play whether private or dealer.
I would tread carefully without it, especially if the seller is from another country. Paypal direct allows you the do a ppal purchase invoice instead of friends and family. So you do get protection for receiving a purchased item. Good luck…

I questioned the seller in regards to refund and received no reply.
Thank you

I would pass if a private seller will not use the site's escrow service. Too much risk.

The only advantage of dealing with a private person is the price.
In return you might get scammed, fake parts, get robbed or beaten. Why even consider , it’s not worth it. Just deal with reputable sellers. In the boutique section there is a fine selection of them

I bought privately through Chrono24
I believe the escrow service is available for private sellers but the allowances for a refund are VERY limited compared to buying from a dealer With Private seller escrow, you get a refund if you never receive the watch BUT if you get the watch and discover its Fake/Not As Described you're out of luck
