Double Balance & Extra Thin as High Complication?
Based on my knowledge. We consider Perpetual Calendar, Minute Repeater, Split second as high complication. Some do and don't include Tourbillon but I think Flying Tourbillon must be counted.
Had discussion with friends. Are Double Balanced and Extra Thin are considered as high complication or they are just comparable to Chrono or Flyback. |

It’s been debated for ages whether a tourb is a comp since it’s just a fancy balance wheel but AP prices it as as a comp and do do all other brands
Extra thin and double balance are not complications but more technical feats / innovation and this is priced accordingly. See RD2 / jumbo pricing compared to a normal QP / 15510 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
