Three tenors from Rolex.

This is me throwing three tenors from my collection here. Of course, everyone has different preferences, and mine are just that. No. 1 is Pepsi - for versatility and convenience. No. 2 is the Hulk - for a nice dial and a beautiful-ugly case. In the third position I put the Daytona - because the least comfortable, small and hard to read the time. But it has the most Rolex DNA of the three.

I love the Hulk Hogan. I too have a GMT and a Daytona but the Sub just feels better than the other 2..

Nice trio.

I’ve never heard anyone complaining that the Daytona is uncomfortable.

EDIT: less comfortable than a Sub or a GMT

VTNR, Pepsi then a Kermit for me .. or a Smurf ..
Daytona looks tiny and dwarfed by the Hulk and Pepsi ..
( that's enough or i'll be told off by the Nickname Police )

It all depends on the size of your wrist. On my 19cm this little case holds less than GMT and Sub.

The most Rolex DNA of the three - please explain your thoughts there.

I tend to disagree.

I tend to disagree.
The Daytona from the three I have shown is the most recognizable Rolex. Is this answer enough for you?

Gorgeous set and nice explanations :)....it doesn't get much better!

I admit though before clicking on the thread I was expecting 3 flavors of a GMT.

Fair comment based on wrist size. my wrist size is 6.75in (17.145cm) - so the Daytona fits me perfectly

Awesome LSA trio, maybe the ultimate of all the recent models. The Daytona does look small compared to the others. Never noticed that before… Now I really, really want one!

i'd swap out the hulk for 41mmLV or SD4K in a heart beat and did do just that

See, I did the exact opposite. I had a 126610 with both a green and black bezel, and eventually went back to the 40mm model by purchasing the 116610LV.

Here is a comparison of the thickness of the three tenors. I know that the hand is not even, but these are the only photos I managed to take.

Nice All three achieved iconic status within Rolex lineup. Anything you put in instead of any of the three won't do.

I’m still on my way to purchase the Daytona next on my list:

Congrats on finishing collecting all the 3 core sports watches from Rolex lineup!

Current collection: 1) Rolex Submariner(116610LV), 2) Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional(311.30.42.30.01.006), 3) Rolex GMT-Master II(126710BLNR), 4) Breitling B01 Navitimer 43(AB0138211B1A1)

Guys, thank you again for the good word! I noticed that my most worn everyday watch was the raspberry blackberry GMT. Why? One - the unquestionable comfort of the Jubilee bracelet, and two - it has the best readability of the three. Having such a trio, I stopped thinking about the next achievements. I wonder how long... ;)

Nice collection. All you need is a watch for your shirt. I wish you a quick catch of Daytona! :)
