Autochthonous, it means indigenous. I caught a student using it from a cut and paste job on a research paper which he did not cite. He did not graduate.

Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty is a surgical procedure used to remove tissue in the throat. It involves the removal of tissues which may or may not include:

The uvula (see uvulotomy)
The soft palate.
The tonsils
The adenoids, and
The pharynx.

We just call it a UPx3

is that why the artist formally know as Prince came up with that name, then got sick of the long-ness of it, so changed to a some sort of "?" symbol?

I like "panoply"... I use it in the context of the #3 definition.

1 a : a full suit of armor b : ceremonial attire
2 : something forming a protective covering
3 a : a magnificent or impressive array <the full panoply of a military funeral> b : a display of all appropriate appurtenances <no need for the panoply of power>
