Rubber Strap on GMT II vs Submariner

I'm trying to pick a gift from my wife and kids, either an Everest watchroll or Rubber B Strap.

I would like to get your opinions if the rubber strap would be more suitable for either the Bluesy or BLRO. I plan to get the version of which I can use the existing clasp. I'm thinking either blue /black rubber for Bluesy VS Black Rubber/black rubber with red striping for BLRO

Pls do post pictures of your rubber strap setup..

Thanks in advance.

Blue Everest for sub or black for gmt would be my pick. Good luck!

I have the one I used the Rolex clasp and I have been beyond happy with it

That looks nice! Thanks for sharing. Do you prefer Everest over RubberB?

Also did you have to cut the rubber yourself?

.... so far I'm liking the all black rubber on the BLRO :)

Blue strap on Bluesy a little too wild for me.

I did see the Navy one and own one. I'm going to try it on my BLRO in July.

I owned the original BLNR and wore the strap for a year. I sold the original BLNR and picked up the 126710 a couple of weeks ago from an AD. Once I got home, put the Everest on, as it's a lot more comfortable for me and the blues match perfectly. I ordered the 69200 once that arrives, I'll switch out the Everest to the jubilee for the fall / winter.

I think the dark blue rubber on either the BLRO or Bluesy would look great! I personally would go with a strap that you could use a set of Smarty endlinks with. I love the look with the endlinks!

Sub on black rubber is the only one I'd wear.

Don’t have experience with rubber b but I have been overly impressed with Everest.

I didn’t have to cut the rubber. Count the links on your watch and select the proper bands and the fit is perfect. Plus the glide lock clasp is the icing on the cake for this set up.

No contest... Rubber B with a tri-fold deployant clasp.

Before I added this strap I had a black Rubber B with the blue line on it. The watch looked a little dull with this strap as the black kind of took away some of the pop from the watch itself. I too was hesitant that the blue strap would be a bit too much. But it really isn't, and the blue strap matches the bezel to a tee and brings out more of the blue from the watch than the black strap ever did.

Not a fan of Rubber straps on Rolex sport models. Bracelets for me. I have a lot of other watch brands that do rubber straps better and are more suited for me.

That looks fantastic!!! Try-fold deployant, the stock Rolex clasp?

I may end up with a jubilee for my BLRO, so I decided to buy a Rubber B for my Bluesy...... Have any pictures of the black rubber on your Bluesy?

Also, please post pictures of the blue rubber b under normal or dim lighting conditions pls :)

Here you go...

The tri-fold does not use the stock Rolex clasp. It's its own separate clasp as Rubber B doesn't make a blue strap that uses the Rolex clasp. Also note that I have the old 40mm Bluesy and they don't make a black strap with a blue stripe for the 41mm.

Lastly, I love the two tone bracelet but sometimes it's just a bit too much bling. The black strap (for me) toned down the watch too much and lost a lot of it's pop. The blue strap really brings out the blue in the watch and gives it more bling without the bling of the two tone bracelet. I kept holding off on buying the blue strap as I thought it might be a bit much. I finally said what the heck and bought it with the thought that I could return it if I didn't like it. But in fact I love it and wish I would have bought it long ago.

And if you think the blue is flashy, Mr. Wonderful, Kevin O'Leary, loves red watch bands and Rubber B is one of his favorites...

I have to be a dissenter here. Apart from Oysterflex, 6 digit models look wrong on anything but the bracelet. (Maybe the SD4kc would be an exception to this because it's basically a 5 digit case, but no others.)

I agree but I guess each to their own. Tried sub 11 series on nato as well. Looks wrong.

I haven't placed the navy on the blro yet, but have the bright blue on blnr as posted above.

Have my white Daytona on everest white strap as well.
