Need Help Please

Hey everyone -

I know it has been awhile since I have been on here. Actually it was right after my daughter was born :)

My dad is trying to get rid of his Rolex because he needs the money. I am considering either buying it from him and giving it back to him or helping him sell it.

Problem is I have no idea how much to buy it for or sell it for?

I believe it is from the 80's before the scratch resistant face.

Here are a few pics. I know they are not the best but I would appreciate any advice I can get from the ROLEX EXPERTS :)

Thank you very much!

Well from what I can see it has an aftermarket dial refinish which wll diminish its value a bit has an oyster band not as desireable as the jubilee for this model. Without better pics you're looking at between a g and 1500 best guess Rik

Maybe it would be best to take some real pics and not crappy iphone pics and post them. I will have my dad take some pics tonight with a real camera and I will post them.

Again I would like to thank you all for your help. I appreciate it :)

Definitely not a Vignette dial.

Looks more like an AM to me.

Better pic's would of course help.

As of now I dare to put the value between $1,000 -1,500.
