Although, for that price I would have liked mine in platinum.

127 remains the "bargain" in the ss 47mm Luminor category....or lets put it this way,thats the one I would go for,at around $19000.

and if I had a spare $95000 lying around in small change

The problem I see with the 127 is the what if...

What if Panerai makes another 47mm domed crystal case? The value of the 127 will tank.

And they get a lot of pressure to make these. It is what EVERYONE wants. So, will Panerai do it? If they do, sales will soar. If they do, they'll royally piss off the current owners of the 127. But they already did that a little by make a 127 OOR production.

Time will tell, but if I had a 127 now, I'd be very tempted to sell it.
