Any experience with SBGK007G?

Hi there,
I’m currently looking to buy a slim dress watch on strap. The SBGK007g caught my eyes with its unique dial arrangement compare to other GS dress watches (I have a thing for watches with small second hands). I do have a Shunbun but would love to acquire a more formal looking piece. I’m also comparing this watch with a new 40mm Panerai Radiomir which fits my 5.5” wrist perfectly. However I think the GS has better finishing but I had limited time handling one. the Panerai strap fits me well and I heard that GS leather straps tend to be little too long for smaller wrists.
I usually keep my watches for 15 years or more. Do you think this style of GS will still be relevant in years to come? And lastly, how is the SBGK007’s dial in different lighting conditions? It was hard to tell when I saw one in a GS boutique with all the plastic wrapping. The dial was more matte than I would’ve liked, but in some photos it looked quite dynamic with the sunray finishing.
