The Scottish Highlands
I had a very pleasant week here and I thought you may like to see a couple of shots of the scenery with the obligatory wrist shot.
Contrary to popular belief it was actually boiling hot and not midgy - well on the days it didn't rain....

Thanks everyone - it was a great place but unfortunately it is too far north for the Haggis, whose usual habitat is in the glens of the Cairngorms, which provide more shelter from the wind and midges.

A view of Quinag. Stoer Lighthouse - an excellent spot for viewing sea birds! The Old Man of Stoer. It doesn't look that big - but have a look at Julia Bradbury's web site, she climbed it!
