There are too many bleeping watches I want!!!!!

Man, I'm going crazy. I'm going to get a watch next year sometime and there are soooooo many that I want. Before, it seemed so much easier. Used to be only Rolex, then I got my 111 (which I still haven't worn) and now I'm trying to plan my next collection piece. There are too many bleeping choices.

Anyone else going crazy trying to decide their watch purchase?

Plus with the economy, there are so many crazy good deals out there, but alas I got other things to pay for now.

Yeah...Same here Man. I wait for my "Upcoming" Pannie on August 17 will arrive.
And then one more watch in end of year or early next year (2010).
After that I'm planning to stop buy watch, until 2011.

It's a wedding present. I'll be wearing it soon. I (she) bought it ahead of time b/c I really wanted want the transitional model 111G. They aren't rare, just not that common.

My list just keeps growing. Realistic next watches for me.

PAM 000 (PVD'ed)
PAM 087 (sucker for blue subs)
PAM 232 (is it too big for me??? - really want to try)
PAM 210 (if no 232)
PAM 233 (hey, everyone here has one)
PAM 141 (love the look and it is dressy which I don't have)
PAM 242 (a great GMT with a great movement)
PAM 190 ()
IWC 7day BP - (nuff said)
IWC 7dat Port - (recent tried this lovely on)
SS Daytona (not sure on this, but I should consider it)
BP Fifty Fathoms (I REALLY want to try this one on!!!!)
Rolex YG Root Beer Nipple Dial GMT on Jubilee (the one gold watch that sings to me)

That is my list I just thought of off the top of my head in 2 min. I reserve the right to change it as much as I want!

My only hope is Powerball right now. Over 200 million!

If I had to pick on right now on the spot, it would be the IWC BP or the BP FF. Either way a BP!!!!

Nice, well you can't win the powerball because I'm going to... LOL

Well, I know you won't be disappointed if you end up with a BP in the future.

I hear you on the BP.

All the BP threads on the other site are NOT helping. I really like the 5004 which correct me if I'm wrong is the model # with black date and dash of red on the PR indicator.

Not sure if I can pull of the size though...

mfer, sorry for the thread jack...

You are correct, the power indicator on the 5004 has the red highlights when 1 day left. The 5002 has a 9 at 9 o'clock but does not have the partial 2 and 4.

A lot of people prefer the 5002 but I really have no opinion, I like them both but of course my 5004 is great for me.

Here is a pic of my 5004:

So, what is up with IWC watches putting the straps on backwards. I've noticed MANY people do it like you have, but only on IWC. It would bug me to all end.

And, hijack away. I don't care.

You know mik, I thought the same thing when I tried it on the first time I went lookin at the BP. Being a fellow Panerai owner I was a little confused but after owning it for a little over a week now, I have defintely become used to it. The buckle comes off really easily with it in this position, might be a little odd the other way around, but of course you can certainly switch it if so inclined.

Nice thread jack pic below :)
