I click on the Open Discussion Forum and the first unread post I see is this one. Looking at the title and who posted it, I immediately thought, "I bet he bought something new from Tumi."

Can you please let me know when you're having a purging of your luggage.

I need a new carry on.

Can I get the justification behind it?

What does it do that your others do not?

I have several over-night business trips coming up. I will be bringing my briefcase with my work stuff, but obviously need a bag for a shirt change, sport coat, my pajamas, and.. well, you know. Now I could take my carry on, which is the standard 22 inches but it is way over kill. This small one is the perfect size for over night and it FITS UNDERNEATH THE SEAT. So if I am going standby or whatever I don’t have to worry about checking my carry on, wondering if it will make it etc. I am using it tomorrow for the first time, I’ll give you a trip report.

I have the exact model. I cannot figure out for the life of me how to keep it from falling over when it's open (while I'm packing, unpacking, or using). It seems poorly designed, tbh...

Flame away, but I shoved it deeper into the closet and went back to my trusty Burton roller. Yep, I bought a brand new Tumi bag for $750 and found it wholly underwhelming. Model is SUPER top heavy IMO.

Lesson learned.
