There was recently a Thai Edition red perp calendar. I thought it personally looked horrible. Super hard to match with anything too.

There was a red dial RO in the 90s - 14790ST, an automatic 36mm three hander with date.
Two red dialled Offshore limited editions (Rhone Fusterie and Singapore Grand Prix) plus the 25770 with red dial.

I think the red/wine color of the QP is a stunner and that the color would make perfect sense in a regular production time only RO. It would be less financial commitment to something that you maybe wouldn't wear as much as blue/black/silver dial.
Personally, I feel the color would be more versatile then the green dial. At least for me. Also, how good would it look with a white rubber strap! If they released it, it would go to the top of my list for a 41mm time only RO. |
