Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer 2

Reference 16570 with 40mm case

E serial number circa 1990 production, warranty papers dated in 1991 at time of purchase new.

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and crown guards. The case has been polished by LA watchworks prior to going up for sale. Fully legible numbers.

Dial is original, white with vivid yellow patina on plots. So-called Chicci Di Mais dial with corn yellow patina from early 1990’s. The patina color on the dial was too good to not have matching hands, so I made the decision to have LA Watchworks match the hands on this one.

The bezel is in excellent vintage condition

Original Rolex 78360 bracelet with 13 links, 501B ends, and RS date code, moderate stretch from use.

The watch comes with original punched papers with matching numbers and Rolex boxes.
