Durability of 38mm RO Chrono 26715ST?

Hi guys,

I was wondering how durable the 26715ST / 38mm Royal Oak Chrono is, also in relation to going in the swimming pool and in general wearing as a daily on hot summer days etc.?

I know it’s 50m “water resistant” with a screw down crown, but I believe the chrono pushers are not screw down, which could hold me back from diving into the pool.

Any insights are highly appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback! How do you feel it compares to other watches you’ve worn in terms of comfort?

A different model of course, but I've been wearing my 15400 a lot this summer and it's been great. I had it pressure tested a month or so ago and it passed 100m test

The 15400 has a screw down crown right? I would be a lot less concerned if the 26715 has screw down pushers.

Thanks for the input

26715 has screw down crowns but not screw down pushers. my understanding is that it is water resistant to 50m as long as pushers not engaged.

Even my rolex daytona, although it has screw down pushers, it just prevents the chrono pushers from being pressed. the screw down aspect of it does not impact water resistance

Agree with your aspect. I believe the purpose of securing the chrono pushers with screw down lock would be to ensure the pushers were not unintentionally pushed when in the pool for instance..

I've only owned the 38mm model for a month but have had a 39mm ROC since 2014. As a daily wear watch, I think ROCs are great. I don't care nearly as much as others about scratches. The only thing I would suggest is to wear the bracelet a little on the loose side since they aren't as flexible and there is no micro-adjusting clasp.

I would wade in a pool with a ROC, but would not dive into a pool or take one into a hot tub. So if those are in my travel plans, I typically grab my Aquanaut or G-Shock instead.
