Hello.
Have had a 422 for a while.... sold it a while back, and now looking for something a bit different. Possibly a Rad. Question is how reliable are the wire lugs. I like to change straps a lot..... a lot.... like more than daily sometimes :0 So I'm honestly a bit worried about the case stripping. What are your thoughts. |

Just as durable as the Luminor. You’re just as likely to strip one of them as you are a Rad.
Now, the Rad change is a bit more complex, and on a smaller scale, but it’s still easy. The key is to not back the screws out all the way. This way you negate your chance of losing them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Or get a Rad with 1940’s spring bar case.

No issues changing the straps, like a lot of things it is just practice and having the right tools. I own the 992 right now and change straps at will with no issues. I do like the looks of the wire lugs.

A little care and magnifying glasses allow me to switch out straps as I choose.

Thanks, I have quite a few 26mm straps from my 422.... so was hoping to use a case that would fit them.
I gess my concern is.... what would happen with a stripped hole.... mid case replacement i guess? Also do the Rads use a crown tube? or is it integrated into the middle case? |

No worries on the wire lugs. I change straps often. No issues. Get an extra set of screws for piece of mind.
