can ANYONE help?
hey guys/gals...
was over at the wifes mom's place the other day and found this little guy in her cluttered basement. Wound her up and it still runs like a champ. Its a Tissot Seastar Seven Automatic. The band is aftermarket as far as i can tell but thats all i kno.....anyone seen one before and kno any info on it or where i could find some? it belonged to her grandmother.... thanks guys!! Pete

I just looked it up on line for a short time. It looks like similar models from the 70's with 21 jewel movements are going for about $300 US.

i went into our local AD and he told us it looked to be from the 20's....would make sense with the 90+ year old grandmother who bought it....
the watch did originally come with a leather band....prob was erika's grandmother had bad arthritis and he clasp was too hard to maneuver. hence the "stretchy" band. Unfortunately no one in the family (other then our departed grandma) likes this style but it is a piece of history.... im still searchin online but was told the best thing would be to send it into Tissot for a look.....i kinda dont wanna shell out the moola for that just yet.... thanks guys!!
