A. Lange and Söhne Zeitwerk Date thoughts

Anyone have or seen the A. Lange and Söhne Zeitwerk Date? Seems like immaculate level of finishing and I love the look. May be out of reach for most of us on price.

An amazing watch. Very large and thick. If you have a small wrist it won't work.
they only make a few each year so most ALS Boutiques require a prior purchase (Lange 1 or similar) to get an allocation. Prices have increased substantially over the last 2 years so a 2021 model will be below current RRP on grey market.

I tried one on in person at the NYC Boutique. It was too large for my wrist but even so I desperately want one. It’s just stunning and so much fun. If you have the money and it works for you I can’t recommended it enough.

I have one and don’t think it is as large as the numbers. It is extremely comfortable to wear. This is a picture of mine on a 7.25” wrist…it is my favorite watch in my collection by far. Big fan of Lange!

Looks great on your wrist. I’m super jealous.

Thank you! It has been a grail of mine for several years. I think the new 2023 pricing is around $135k now…big jump from its original price…

Had a Zeitwerk Date on my radar but then lucked out and found this gently used ZW - have to agree despite the size it’s very comfortable to wear

You appear to still have all the stickers on your ZW date - you will be amazed at how much more it pops with them removed.

Love the stap.

I was offered a Zeitwerk date in Miami with no prior history, but decided I would prefer a WG black dial Zeitwerk. It is an awesome watch, but I am also really annoyed with the multiple price hikes from Lange, it almost doesn't make it worth it to buy in the boutique at RRP when grey can be cheaper. Now the bonus of buying in the boutique is you can then buy a waitlisted Odysseus.

Here are some others I tried on.

Great photos. Thanks for sharing. I also agree the price hikes with Lange are getting very annoying.

Yes, I can’t bring myself to take off the stickers yet…I am sure it will look better without them for sure…
