New Tudor GMT Opaline dial with Jubilee Bracelet

When the new Tudor GMT Opaline dial was announced this year, I immediately fell in love. After a four month wait, I was finally able to get one at the Tokyo Ginza Tudor boutique. Incoming! The dial is gorgeous, the vintage yet modern look is extremely pleasurable. However, as others have said, the OEM bracelet was not comfortable or that attractive nor could I get a good fit. It was frustrating. I took it back to get resized and also ended up buying the NATO alternative strap. It was OK, suited the season, but on the NATO it felt a little too top (head) heavy. Then, inspired by Dave O's post earlier this month I ordered the Uncle Jubilee bracelet with original Tudor clasp conversion. Oh boy! This is nice! Excellent fit, looks even more amazing, I could not be any more satisfied. Thank you Dave O for your post, you have made me thrilled with this watch again. Here are some pics of all three straps.

Looks great! Mine says hi!

I will agree the lack of bracelet adjustments, especially no “on the fly” easy link or similar is a bummer. Luckily for me I was able to find a fit that’s perfect, so I’m very happy with mine overall especially at the price point.

Looks great. I use a Forstner Jubilee bracelet on my Black Bays and have been pleased with the look, fit and adjustability. I do like the Tudor clasp as an option but the clasp on the Forstner's is great and has a lot of adjustability. I have not put it on my Opaline GMT yet, but will.

Congrats, OP!

I love the rivet for it's vintage stair step taper. But I also love options and decided on the brushed center link jubilee.

You are welcome!!! Glad I could help. Looks great with the brushed center links. Much better look than the standard Tudor bracelet. You can't go wrong whether you chose brushed or polished center links. It really transforms the look of the watch in a good way. Some pics of mine with polished center links for those that missed my original thread.
