And then there were 2 GMTs

Decided to pull the trigger on this to add to the collection. This thing is sexy as hell, and it's true, the online pics do it NO justice. I used to have a 116613LB, but it was just too dang loud for my tastes, so I sold it. This one is just perfect for me.

When the 126711CHNR first came out, I said I'd never own a watch with brown on it. I'm now eating my words. I have to hand it to Rolex, this piece is so perfectly executed with the rose gold, brown, and black.

Shout out to DavidSW for a great transaction. Yes, I paid over MSRP, but after factoring taxes and an 18-24 month wait, or not having to bundle other stuff that I don't want, it made sense financially for me to just do it.

The one on the right has been drinking too much Rootbeer, lol.

The proportions on the newer 6 digit reference just makes the older reference look a bit smaller imho.

I always wanted a two tone sub. But was not able to buy one.
My first was a gmt LN then i got the starbucks and a bb58.
But then i got my chnr my goodness it was truly scratched my sportswatch itch.
I see myself getting a dj 41 in the near future and maybe if i ever could in this lifetime an aquanaut!
But the CHNR is such a magnificent timepiece.

If you can afford it and you enjoy the watch, no need to explain going gray =)

Ultimately time > money

Great pick-up. I adore this watch, Rolex really knocked out the park with this one. And don’t blame you going great, time is more precious than money.

Steve, how would you compare the two GMT’s on the wrist? Asking for a friend who’s interested in a 5 digit Pepsi
