Fascinating article. Whenever I read about these early Sea-Dwellers, I'm always reminded of one of the greatest finds ever discussed on this forum, an uber rare prototype DRSD. (And yes, this watch ended up being legit.)

If you click on the username and follow up the other threads, you can find a resolution in there. Looks like it took 2 years to restore and then sell it for $210k. However looks like there was a lot of murkiness around the sale. |

Very interesting information. The amount of research the Perezscope performs and thr info that he uncovers is incredible.

Yes, here's the thread with the end of the story:
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=328601 And here's the watch with a correct crystal. A $350 purchase of a Rolex that then sold for $210K. Gotta be close to a record for a "Eureka" watch find by someone who didn't even realize what they bought. |

Wasn't this watch bought by M.K himself?
Here's what the legend said about the watch himself starting from minute 20:30: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kgInbF9Lzk |

Apparently this one also has no valve. So, did it come before or after Single Red, or at the same time?

Oh well. I wish Morgan himself would come on the forum sometimes and share his enthusiasm.
