Is the green mint dial color on the green palm dial?
Is the green mint dial color on the green palm dial? I was offered the green mint dial and I did not like the color. Is that color present anywhere on the palm dial? If so which part? I have never seen a green palm dial in person. I have read some people using the word olive to describe the green palm dial.

As far as I know, they are two different shades of green. I have never seen “mint” used to describe the green palm dial. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Not even close.
The “Palm”‘ dial official and full name is OLIVE Green Palm Motif so that gives you a hint to the difference. BTW, I love the Palm dial and am on the list for one. Allegedly, Rolex ships them very sporadically. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

And Mint dial appear to be significantly more common than Palm dials.

I have one of these! So the base color is more of an olive green with a couple lighter shades. Nothing that really strikes me a mint though. It’s a fun watch out in the sun when the light plays on all the leaves. It took me 19 months to get it from the AD. Definitely looks a lot different in person compared to pics. Much much better in person

I was actually just talking to my SA about the Palm she got me (for my niece) when they were first introduced. She just told me that was the only Palm they received. Haven't seen one since.

Do you know if the olive on the DJ is the same as on the 60th anniversary DD dial?

My SA said something similar and added he personally has not sold one and thinks he’s only seen one or two since release. I was actually offered one right after release (same AD but I had a different SA at that time) and I passed. D’oh! I often do not like watches at first glance that end up becoming favorites over time and multiple looks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
